                     3. બ્લોગ કેવી રીતે બનાવશો ?

 તો તમે પણ તમારો પોતાનો બ્લોગ બનાવવાનું નક્કી કરી લીધું, બરાબર? સરસ.આ લેખમાં બ્લોગ બનાવવા વિશે, ટૂંકમાં પણ એકડેએકથી જાણીએ. બ્લોગ બનાવવા માટે દુનિયાભરમાં મુખ્યત્વે ગૂગલની ‘બ્લોગર' અને ‘વર્ડપ્રેસ' સાઇટ અત્યંત લોકપ્રિય છે. હાલના ગુજરાતી બ્લોગર્સે મોટા ભાગે વર્ડપ્રેસ પર પસંદગી ઢોળી હોવાથી આપણે એનું જ ઉદાહરણ લઈને ચાલીએ.

બ્લોગ બનાવવા માટે માત્ર ઇચ્છા પૂરતી નથી. દુનિયાભરના વાચકો સાથે વહેંચી શકાય એવી કોઈ પણ સામગ્રી - લખાણ, ફોટોગ્રાફ કે વિડિયો - તમારી પાસે હોવાં જોઈએ. કંઈ નહીં તો છેવટે મનમાં ઊગે એ વાત નિખાલસતાથી લખવાની તૈયારી તો જોઈએ જ. કોઈ ગુજરાતી બ્લોગમાં જ વાંચ્યા અનુસાર, અત્યારે લગભગ ૮૦ ટકા ગુજરાતી બ્લોગમાં કવિતા - સ્વરચિત કે બીજાની - પ્રસ્તુત થાય છે, એટલે તમે કોઈ નવો વિષય શોધીને એ વિશે નિયમિત લખો તો વધુ સારું.

તો, આપણી આ બ્લોગસફરનું પહેલું સ્ટેશન છે http://gu.wordpress.com ગુજરાતી બ્લોગર્સ માટે વર્ડપ્રેસની આ ગુજરાતીમાં સેવા છે (માત્ર http://wordpress.com પર જશો તો અંગ્રેજી પેજ ઓપન થશે). ગુજરાતી પેજ પર, વિવિધ ગુજરાતી બ્લોગ પર મુકાયેલી તાજી પોસ્ટ પણ જોવા મળશે. ગીત, ગઝલ, સાહિત્ય વગેરે જુદા જુદા ‘ટૅગ' પણ જોવા મળશે, જેની ઉપર ક્લિક કરતાં એ વિષય પર મુકાયેલી સંખ્યાબંધ પોસ્ટ જોવા મળશે.

પણ થોભો, આપણે બીજાનું નથી વાંચવું, લોકો આપણું વાંચે એવું કરવું છે!

માટે, મુખ્ય પેજ પર સૌથી ઉપર, ‘સાઇન અપ નાઉ'ની લિંક પર ક્લિક કરો. આથી બાજુમાં દર્શાવેલું પેજ ઓપન થશે. આ પેજ પર, તમને મનગમતું યુઝરનેમ, પાસવર્ડ (તમને યાદ રહે એવો પસંદ કરજો!) અને ઇ-મેઇલ પૂછવામાં આવશે. તમારું યુઝરનેમ જ તમારા બ્લોગનું એડ્રેસ બનશે, એટલે તેની પસંદગી કાળજીપૂર્વક કરજો. તમે આપેલું યુઝરનેમ અગાઉ કોઈએ લઈ લીધું હશે તો તમારે નવું કોઈ યુઝરનેમ આપવાનું રહેશે.

બસ, હવે તમે મુખ્યત્વે કઈ ભાષામાં બ્લોગિંગ કરશો એ જણાવો એટલે વર્ડપ્રેસ તમે જણાવેલા ઇ-મેઇલ પર એક્ટિવેશન લિંક મોકલશે. તમારા ઇ-મેઇલ પ્રોગ્રામમાં જઈ, એ લિંક પર ક્લિક કરો એટલે તમારો બ્લોગ તૈયાર! ક્લિક કરતાં જ, વર્ડપ્રેસનું લોગ-ઇનનું પેજ ખૂલશે, અહીં યુઝરનેમ, પાસવર્ડ આપો એટલે તમારા બ્લોગનું ડેશબોર્ડ ખૂલશે.

આ ડેશબોર્ડ કે સમજો કે તમારી કારનું ડેશબોર્ડ. અહીંથી બધું થાય! બ્લોગની ડિઝાઇન પસંદ કરવી, નવી પોસ્ટ મૂકવી, નવું પેજ લખવું, જૂની પોસ્ટ મેનેજ કરવી, વગેરે બધું અહીંથી થશે. પણ, જેમ કાર ડ્રાઇવરની બાજુમાં બેઠેલી વ્યક્તિ ચલાવી ન શકે એમ, અહીંથી આગળ તમારે જાતે જ વધવાનું રહેશે. ખાંખાખોળાં કરશો, આમતેમ ક્લિક કરશો, વધુ વાંચશો તેમ તેમ વધુને વધુ સમજ કેળવાશે.

          4. તમારા બ્લોગ પર ચાલતી પટ્ટી કેવી રીતે ચલાવશો ?

આના માટે તમારે સૌ પ્રથમ તમારા બ્લોગના ડેશબોર્ડ પરથી લે-આઉટ વિભાગમાં જવું પડશે. જ્યાં એડ ગેજેટ પર  ક્લિક કરો. ક્લિક કર્યા બાદ નવી વિન્ડો ખુલશે. ત્યાંથી HTML/JAVAScipt ની પસંદગી કરો. પસંદ કરતાં એક નવી વિન્ડો ખુલશે. તેમાં નીચે લાલ રંગ વાળુંલખાણ કોપી કરી પેસ્ટ કરો. જ્યાં ગુજરાતી લખાણ છે તે કાઢી ત્યાં તમારું મનગમતું લખાણ  ટાઈપ કરી ઓકે કરી બહાર નીકળી જાઓ.

[HOW TO]Install windows 7 from USB drive/Pen drive.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1GB RAM and 16GB Hard disk space
• 1GHZ processor.
• Windows 7 iso file.
• Pen drive/ usb drive with 4GB space.

Or just get a windows 7 DVD from somewhere if you can.

I assume that you have managed to get the Windows 7 DVD somehow by now. If you have the Windows 7 DVD in your hand then read on.

Follow the steps given below to install Windows 7 from USB drive.

1. Insert your USB thumb drive.
2. Open command prompt. If you are using vista open it with admin rights.
3. Type diskpart and press enter.
4. Type list disk.
5. You will see all the disks connected to your system. If you don’t have any other disk than your Hard disk and pen drive then your pen drive will be Disk . You can guess your pen drive by it’s size also.
6. If it’s disk 1 then type Select disk 1.
7. Now before moving ahead take backup of your important data from pen drive as we will have to format the pen drive.
8. Now go back to CMD and type CLEAN.This will remove partition or volume formatting from the current in-focus disk by zeroing sectors
9. Type CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY and press Enter. This will create a primary partition of length size and a starting address offset on the current drive.
10. Type SELECT PARTITION 1 and press Enter.
11. Type ACTIVE. this will mark the currently selected device as active.
12. Now type FORMAT FS=NTFS and press Enter.This process may take some time. Wait for this process to end.This will format your USB drive.
13. Type ASSIGN and press Enter. Then type EXIT .
14. Now insert your Windows 7 DVD in the DVD drive. I will assume that your DVD drive is at D and USB drive is G. Look in your MY computer to know the drive letters for your PC.
15. If you have iso file of Windows 7 then you can use this trick to use iso file without burning.
16. Now open new windows of CMD and navigate to your dvd drive using cmd. If your drive name is d then type D:
17. Now type CD boot and press enter. Then type bootsect /nt60 H: (H is your usb drive letter).
18. Now copy all files to your pen drive.
19. Now the most important step: Reboot your PC and press F2 when the system restarts. This will take you in to BIOS Menu. Under the advanced bios options set the Primary boot device to your Pen drive. Now you are all set to install Windows 7 from USB drive.

How to reset Windows admin password without knowing the old password

Here is a simple tutorial on resetting the admin account password of any Windows Operating System.  All you will require for this is one Ubuntu live CD.

1. Insert Ubuntu Live CD and boot from it.
2. Open terminal and install chntpw in Ubuntu. To do so use the following commands.

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install chntpw

Now mount your Windows volume. In my case it was dev/sda1. Replace it with yours.

sudo mkdir /media/WINDOWS
sudo mount /dev/sda1 /media/WINDOWS

Now navigate to the Windows configuration folder.

cd /media/WINDOWS/WINDOWS/system32/config/

To reset the administrator password enter

sudo chntpw SAM

After completing this command you will see 5 different choices. Select the 1st one and press Enter and done.

Change the color of folders in Windows

Some people just love to make their things look beautiful…even their PC. Though I am not one of those but I still liked the idea of coloring the folders.Not because it gives better look to my desktop but it helps me to find the folders more easily.

ઇન્ટરનેટ સર્ફીંગ ની સ્પીડ વધારો.

હવે દરેક ના ઘરમાં ઈન્ટરનેટ સાથેનું જ કમ્પ્યુટર જોવા મળતું હોય છે, જો કે ઈન્ટરનેટ કનેક્શન દ્વારા ઈન્ટરનેટ સર્ફીગ નો લહાવો મળતો હોય છે પરંતુ લીધેલા કનેક્શન માં સ્પીડ ઓછી હોવાને કારણે મજા બગડી જતી હોય છે.જો તમારે કમ્પ્યુટરમાં પણ ઇન્ટરનેટ હોય અને તમારે તેની સ્પીડ માં વધારો કરવો હોય તો આ માટેની એક ઉપાય છે તો આ માટે નીચેની પ્રોસેસ કરો .
૧. Start > Run જઈ gpedit.msc ટાઇપ કરો અને એન્ટર પ્રેસ કરો.
૨. આમ કર્યા બાદ Group Policyની વિન્ડો ઓપેન થશે .
૩. આ વિન્ડોમાં સાબી પેનલમાંથી Computer Configuration > Administrative template > Network > QoS Packet Scheduleપર ક્લિક કરો
૪. આમ કરવાથી તમારી જમણી બાજુ એક લીસ્ટ ઓપન થશે તેમાંથી Limit Reversableપર ડબલ ક્લિક કરો
૫. જેથી એક બોક્સ ઓપન થશે તેમાં Enable નામનું રેડીયો બોક્સ ટીક કરો.
૬. ત્યાર બાદ નીચે Bandwidth limit (%) નું બોક્સ ઓપન થશે જેને ઘટાડીને ૦% કરી દો ( જો શૂન્ય જ હશે તો કોઈ ફરક નહિ પડે)
૭. આ પછી Apply પ્રેસ કરો અને OK કરી દો
૮. બસ, આટલું કર્યા પછી તમારી ઇન્ટરનેટ ની સ્પીડમાં વધારો જણાશે. બને તો એકવાર કમ્પ્યુટર Restart કરીને પણ ચેક કરી જુઓ.
